Using his vast commercial knowledge and business acumen Steve is committed to growing Open Property Group to be the market leader in its sector.
Having started his career in sales, Steve moved into the finance market in the early 80’s developing a number of different business enterprises. In 1997, with two partners and just 6 employees, he launched Priority One Ltd providing finance solutions into the consumer market sector.
The business grew and in 2000 acquired the domain name www.Loans.co.uk and was subsequently rebranded under this name. The company continued to grow in both stature and product range and in 2004 was voted 5th in the Sunday Times Best Company to Work for Awards. Steve continued to grow the business and in 2005, with over 600 employees based in the Watford head office and a call centre operations centre in Preston, Loans.co.uk was sold to MBNA Bank.
Steve is an avid sports fan with a major interest in football and rugby and following the sale of Loans.co.uk, he became the owner of Wycombe Wanderers FC and Wasps RFC, where he continued to demonstrate his entrepreneurial approach and commitment to building business excellence.
His passion is building businesses with a strong emphasis and foundation based on customer service, quality and excellence, the integral building blocks on which Open Property Group is built.
Martyn is an invaluable member of the team and he has 15 years’ experience working in varied roles within the property sector. Martyn has vast experience in estate agency, valuations, new homes and development.
